New air

Ah~ I finally got my new wardrobe set yesterday.

I usually do house renovation at other peoples' houses so this time I was the one just sitting around seeing somebody else do something for me. I thanked the man who set it up so many times T-T He was really patient with me choosing the placement of the selves T-T

There's still a long way until the wardrobe gets finished as I'm going to do some diy on it hehe. Plus, the full renovation of my room is gonna be finished by the beginning of spring. I promise I'm going to make a video when it's done.

That was me yesterday after cleaning up the whole room.

My eyes were so dry in the midday but I could not fall asleep,

I was starring at the wardrobe haha

So the next day I went out with my friend to eat & do some essential shopping.

I loved my eye make. I finally remembered to add more white under my eye.

I wanted to show my friend a building that I always though was a hotel with a certain interior design...

Well, turns out it was just a restaurant... But how? On my mind I had a whole different visual ;A;

Anyway, I took a pic of the building next to it as I loooooved the arched windows.

Have you ever heard of the goddess Tyche οr Fortuna?

I had no idea about her all of this time...

She just caught my eye. Such a pretty statue!

She reminded my of the statue in Throne of Eros.

Why was she blindfolded though if she was supposed to be

the personification of the prosperity & wealth of a city, as wiki says?

Further research was made, dear gals.

I'm gonna summarize what you're also gonna find when you search for her.

Fortune acts without foresight, preference or moral judgement.

Its outcomes are random & unpredictable,

not guided by reason or fairness.

She represents those moments when life turns without warning.

Ideas, shifts, meetings, opportunities.

And then...

hear me out...

doesn't it ALL LEAD TO FUKUOKA???

Fukuoka, land of prosperity,

I did notice her without seeking her... I simply found her.

6th of the month was when I first visited Fukuoka.

& 16th of the month was when I first found this statue...

Isn't this some kind of conspiracy or something?!

AND AND! LUNAR NEW YEAR is here as I'm writing this.

And what do they hang upside down on their front doors

on Lunar New Year?

A sign with 福 on it!

YOU:

Yeah, sorry, I got swept away...

Anyway, I don't celebrate personally but I'd love to as the single thing, in my beliefs, that gets connected to Lunar New Year is the fact that I also follow the lunar calendar in my life. I use the phases of the moon in my spiritual practices & I also believe in the effects its gravity has on earth. For example it's the new moon of the year, I'm also going to do some celebratory ritual as we're in the middle of the winter solstice & coming closer to the spring equinox. I feel deeply grateful for the seasons. Doesn't it all work so wonderfully in nature?
