Barcelona Vlog

 

 

Ok, that's my second post for Barcelona. 

I wanted to get more into details about some stuff.

 

First of all, I'm so into creating something cinematographic, more retro.

Something raw; life as it is. 

Raw with its imperfections but at the same time to give off something magical. 

 

I truly believe in magic in simple stuff in life & maybe that's part of gratitude...

Like me sitting on my desk writing while my cat is sitting beside me, some rainy smooth jazz playing in the background & outside is 35°C. The whole neighbourhood is quiet & I'm home alone.

 

I wanted to upload a better quality but it was taking ages to get the file saved as I'm mainly working on my phone. It's ok to me, as long as it gives off the feeling I want to express through my video, a retro/old look. As I've already edited the video in such way so it adds to it hehe. You can get a different feeling from an old camera or phone so why would I bother in the end if the quality is not extra super hd? What's the point? That's where the charm lies~ You can have the best camera/quality but not give off any feeling, just a blunt perfection.

 

So then... ERREWAY.

Their songs just accompanied me my whole life. The in-between videos they had were amazing. I cried so hard.

It was years later after its original release that we got to watch it in Greece. The original was back in 2002 & we got to watch it in 2006. Thank God coz I was just starting my teen years.

It was autumn of 2006 when I first heard Bonita de Más & I recorded it with my mp3 player & just fantasize that I'm also at a college like Elite Way. Or when we remade with my friends the performance of Sweet Baby where Mia gets a lil bit too hyped. Oh and remaking Dos Segundos because we were all in love with Marizza x Pablo pair. Or when my parents went to Madrid back in 2007 & got me their album & I copied it so I can give it to my classmates because not everyone had internet or limewire or knew how to illegally download stuff. YES, arrest me! ARREST ME FOR MY PASSION! Yes!

I'd never side with any character, even now. They all were right & lovable in their own way. Cris Morena created some problematic sht that are not a good example & critical thinking is required (just like with any media). Because come on, Mia lost her sparkle by the second season... She could have taught us something different if she had kept Mia collected. Mia is my idol. She's a dream friend as well. Seriously, I had gotten over wanting a Mia as a best friend but then I decided to become that Mia friend coz I don't see any Mia in the horizon. Anyway, as a lil girl I'd anticipate any scene with Marizza & Pablo ♡ And I was also into Pablo. Gals... listening to Benjamin Rojas in real life touched my inside as I really like his voice.  

Anyway omg back to the concert. The feeling of singing along to the songs you'd just enjoy by yourself all of these years, as if you live in this world by yourself, as if it's not real & it's all in your head...but no! you are at a concert, to the artists from your childhood/teens, along with a huge crowd of people who also share the same feeling with you, all singing together. OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOD!

 

By the end of the video you'll see a lil clip of me talking with some girls from the balcony. They were greeks & I asked them if they came for Erreway. I cannot count the times I have cried, really. It's such a beautiful feeling. I wanna cry now omg... TvT  

Hey! I'm gonna listen to them live in a few days... ON MY BIRTHDAY! So yeah, then I can be free to cry as it's the final time I'm gonna experience this with others.  

  

What else? What else? Am I forgetting anything? I wanted to talk about each song but... ah~

 

Ah yeah! I forgot we all got crazy when Bonita De Más started playing. Then I got up coz I thought it was over but then they continued with other 2 or 3 songs. And thgehehen Sweet Baby started & we all lost it hahaha. We were dancing, singing along, shouting like crazy. It was the perfect outro~ omgdfjadfhljdhfjakjds
