So today I went downtown & wore the coord I wanted to wear tomorrow.
But rest assured, this will be my coord tomorrow as well.
I didn't wear anything heavy, not even a coat, it felt like spring outside.

Detail

They chose a really nice area actually.

Although totally nice architecture & aesthetics, not really a wow for me for various reasons.I see wow in Athens everywhere, especially if I want a wow JUST for the eyes.

Then the sweets.

We got a strawberry milkshake, a double capuccino, a glass of wine & sweet potato fries.

Can I be aunt Mel honest? Yes, of course, if not me then who?
I bought their tote bag because I liked the pastel green colour it had
& I also got their paper bag that I wanted for deco.
Not fan of macarons (or their frozen sweets, not fresh!) or the simple stuff
on the menu equivalent to a basic overpriced Zara garment.
so I'd not actually be able to get their cute boxes.
After all, it's all for decorating, right? Not a big deal~

BUT! BUT! Aesthetics~
I just mean that I don't look
forward to going there again.
Maybe if one day I'm in need of
such colour therapy then yes, I will go.
Maybe I sound kinda kinda, right?
When I go somewhere,
I think more about the energy exchange,
my wallet comes second.
I get stingy & judgmental
when the energy exchange is not good.
That's when you will catch me being "aunt Mel honest".
Maybe my inside is demanding
& I have uncompromised standards
because I'm used to excellent hospitality?
Of course, let's keep in mind
benefit of the doubt!
Maybe those are truly under a microscope obvious things but why not think about our actions, patterns once in a while? Hmmm, nice insight~ Just checked in with myself & you witnessed it. You also witnessed how I choose places in real life but without even analyzing it on a post, it's automatic.
...Do you also work like that? I do weight stuff out a lot, a lifestyle I picked up from living alone in Seoul. It feels more intentional; choosing a place to go or something to buy (or people to hang out with) when it actually feels worth it. It's trial & error but that's part of life~
Update: turns out I was not the only one, the store's got negative reviews about the same stuff I talked about. Next.

I love your necklaces in the combo with the light colors <3
ReplyDeleteheheee thank you so much! I want to wear these with everything :3
DeleteI love your co*de! So cute and colorful <3
ReplyDeleteAhhh that's a bummer. I have never been to a Laduree but I'm always amazed by the look of the locations. But at least we can appreciate how they look I guess XD
Thank you! :3
DeleteThey are good as a background prop for pics lol
