Cyprus Dream Pt2

Wonder why the title is "Cyprus Dream"?

First of all, it felt like a dream, especially in the night coz usually my dreams are night-themed.

Then we got our song "Dreams".

Our? I don't know but... felt like it~

It's soooo damn crazy I had downloaded this song months ago & having forgotten to put it in my phone & when I came back from Cyprus I downloaded it & saw two files named the same...

I LOVE THIS SONG SO DAMN MUCH. EVERY ELEMENT IN IT IS PERFECT!

It felt like a dream, especially the trippy moments the following nights hahaha

Coz gals, my trip to Cyprus is shared in 3 posts for a reason.

As always, little did he know or he didn't know at all, how Mel's system was still adjusting.

The Pt2 is the transitioning part & it's got a different scent.

Thursday 20th

Thursday morning & I had to leave the house at 10am so I went to the cafe till my charismatic comes to pick me up so we can drive to Ayia Napa where we got two nights at a hotel.

Took us a few hours as we also went to pick his friend up to ride around,

so we got there around 4pm. Of course we went to the restaurant to eat after leaving our staff in our room. He got a hamburger & I got ravioli.

Then off for some shopping & got ready to go to the beach in front of our hotel.

My heaaaart~ I could not see what I was recording & look at him...

Um, you do know I'm too shy to take a pic with him, right? WHY? I'm ridiculous.

Then we got ready to go out for dinner.

And this time, I got into my own world again & I swear I have never felt more embarrassed. Little did I know this woke the fck out of me. It was that mechanism that was still lingering in me.

I felt as if I was playing in sims haha. I have got years to go to such vacation place. Such a variety of restaurants & bars.

This one was Flintstones themed!

Then we found a place we liked its menu & what weirded us out was how big the portions were. Imagine that I got a entry salad, not the main course size & it was huge, I could not bring myself to finish it.

The owners of the restaurant got so excited we'd speak greek to them as they speak english all day & there are mostly foreign visitors there.

We then took a walk around the place & we went to an area with clubs & bars. Not really to my liking at all, just ok to pass by out of curiosity. Sims vibes lol

Soooo...

Going back to our hotel, we had pre-planned to chill at the beach at night.

An epic night I obsess over.

Thank God I had him to tell me all of this was true coz otherwise I'd believe I saw all of that in a dream.

Ok, so you do see the map with the path taken to go to the beach, right?

Then the other path is the one we took to go back to our hotel.

You do realize we didn't take the path we took at first...

After we got up from the beach chairs, he asked me if I had gotten with me all of my phones in this trip (coz I had with me my iphone 11, my 6s for music & my flip4 for vids). Why did I find this question that hilariously funny?

So we were going straight to the resort hotel (we were staying at the blue dot) & I saw a pergola & the whole architecture reminded me of something I have seen in a dream & I let him know.

I was going straight so we can get in the hotel & go outside through inside...

Well, I don't get if he was feeling embarrassed to do this but as you can see, we took a turn, to a garden that felt like a labyrinth. He was leading the way & I joked about it hahaha

OMG I FOUND A PIC OF THAT AREA!!!

But even the "labyrinth" was leading to the back entrance hahahah so of course we had no other choice but to go inside the resort hotel.

First sliding door & I don't remember a thing.

Just me taking the lead walking through empty spaces while holding his wrist dragging him along with me hahaha. Like "I know, let's get this over with".

I only remember the sound of my heels & the sound of the sliding doors.

I had great orientation coz in my memory, the hotel was diagonal so I knew we had to go left left & then right. I don't know... I even knew what the interior would be like coz hey~ I have seen it in a dream hahaha or it was so crazily liminal dream coded.

On the left I see a closed dining room & then I walk straight to the right & we finally got to the front desk & then~ the main entrance~

And as we were walking back I was like "We got into the labyrinth while the sure way out was through inside" loool. I thought I created a new theory at that moment oh Gosh~

By the way, I don't really think that path is a labirynth & that was just how my brain worked like at that moment haahahaha

One of the best memories!!!

Friday 21st

Aaaaah our second day there~

We went to get something to eat & we'd get back to our room to eat but the cleaning lady was inside so we decided to go to the lobby to wait.

And as we were eating I saw this painting.

I'm a person who counts things but this time I was like "Noooo, I'm not gonna count & find a meaningful number" so I resisted my habit for once~

But noooo... I was chewing my food, where would I stare at?

I started counting.

1 2 3 4 5 birds. a vessel, 1 2 3 4 5 6 fishes

EXCUSE ME!? IN PLAIN SIGHT?!

Anyway, we managed to get ready & went to a different beach that day at an area called Cape Greco.

I took none at the beach we went to but it was actually a long way to get there as parking was an issue.

Then he drove us to another spot he wanted me to see.

It was so cute he told me to send a pic to my dad from that place.

3pm & we got hungry~

Not the best food we had sadly.

So we arranged to have dinner later in the night with his friends.

Again at the simlish place haha

We had some time till we meet them so we walked around & decided to chill at at port.

It was the time when he did something so cute & I feel in love with him once again.

He wanted to showcase me how lil children jump while in front of us there was a small cliff with stones... & I grabbed his hand coz he had just gotten up to show me lol.

And then another thing he did... He asked with a strict tone "Why? Is it bad I'm laughing?" & I answered him "No, I really like it when you laugh" & then I don't know, I got electrified.

Then as we were walking he said another thing that captivated me.

But anyway~ time to meet up with his friends at a mexican restaurant,

I wasn't that hungry so I got nachos & he got his beef-chicken-prawn dish.

Hold on though...

As I was coming back from the toilet, I SUDDENLY HEAR SIN BANDERA!!!

AND WHICH SONG??? ENTRA EN MI VIDA!

Of course after months, all of Sin Bandera songs were for him. And the crazy thing is I was not listening to my music at all while I was in Cyprus & LOOK WHAT HAPPENED!

I wanna cry writing & recalling this now as... he doesn't know these feelings, that at that moment I heard a song that goes to him. He was just sitting there chatting with his friend & I had to go sit in front of him as if nothing had happened.

We left the restaurant, we walked a bit, I saw this cute truck & got cotton candy & then we parted ways to go back to our hotels.

You could tell that of course

we'd go chill at the beach for our last night there...

Ok, we took different paths this time lol

We got out choco milks & as we were chilling, a foreigner approached us looking for his stuff & my charismatic helped him out.

Then we went to sit elsewhere & it was nice. I fell asleep for a few seconds & he told me to go to bed to sleep & my sleepy mind thought we were back at his house in Athens & I answered accordingly but then I woke up lol.

Ah yeah, tonight I remembered to take a pic of our hangout place.

Aaaaah, another moment I fell in love with him came as he was trying to put the straw in his choco milk carton. He was struggling in the cutest way possible & the moment he made it, my heart could not take it & my knees got weak & could not hold themselves hahahah. I sat down coz my heart...

Then another funny thing happened as we were walking back & he said something in such an entertaining tone & um, a moment where he'd not be careful on the street came & I got shocked.

This kind of shock actually became a lesson for me to be 100% there & not on my mind, especially at moments he's not 100%.

This changed me for good on our last night there.

Saturday 22nd

So came our last day at Ayia Napa. We checked out & we went to Protara to meet with his friends again.
